What’s New in Wellness Travel

Welcome to your latest monthly roundup of wellness travel news and updates from The Wellness Travel Expert.

It’s hard to believe we’re already heading into the final month of winter in Australia. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been busy behind the scenes planning wellness holidays for clients travelling later this year and into 2027, continuing to research new retreats, and building relationships with wellness partners who can offer unique experiences for my clients.

I’ve also been putting the finishing touches on my latest property reviews, including COMO Shambhala Estate in Bali, with my review of TIA Wellness Resort coming soon. Alongside this, I’ve been connecting with new wellness partners across Portugal and Spain, discovering exciting new additions that I’ll be sharing with you over the coming months.

Over the years, I’ve noticed that wellness travel is always evolving. While many people still travel for stress relief, health goals or a complete reset, more travellers are choosing wellness retreats as a way to spend meaningful time together — with partners, parents, siblings and close friends.

My husband, sister and friends have joined me at beautiful wellness retreats over the years, and these shared experiences have always been some of my most memorable journeys.

“Wellness travel is about so much more than taking time away — it’s about creating meaningful experiences that support your wellbeing and bring you closer to the people you love!”

This month’s roundup reflects that idea — from a beautiful mother-daughter wellness journey at Kamalaya, to TIA Wellness Resort’s new babymoon experience, alongside retreats designed around different health goals and life stages.

With that in mind, here are a few wellness travel updates, stories and offers worth exploring this month.

This Month’s Highlights

  • My latest review: COMO Shambhala Estate
